Our Story

Wolverine Truck Tire was founded in 2016 in Detroit, Michigan. But the story goes back further than that — all the way to 1998, when a young guy looking for a job followed his brother into the truck tire business.
What started as just a paycheck turned into a career, and eventually a company. After nearly two decades of learning the trade, the industry, and the people in it, Wolverine Truck Tire was born.
The company started in Dearborn, moved through Detroit, and has been at its current location on Mount Elliott for three years. Through every move, one thing stayed the same: the commitment to doing right by the people who trust us with their trucks.
Today, Wolverine runs 12 service trucks across the metro Detroit area, serving construction companies, waste haulers, and steel hauling operations. Every one of those relationships started the same way — a phone call, a handshake, and a tire that needed changing.
